Mission: Impossible Fallout - Paris, France

Zoom through the streets of Paris, following in the footsteps of Ethan Hunt. Starting at Le Grand Palais to squeezing all the way through the Rue de Nevers, one of the narrowest streets in Paris, there are endless opportunities to recreate your favorite scenes. Escape the crowds and go to Quai Saint-Michel if you’re visiting the Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris. You can enjoy unrestricted views of the Cathedral plus the Seine river!

Top Gun: Maverick - San Diego, USA

The bar where the Great Balls of Fire scene was filmed actually exists and is located in the San Diego Naval Base, USA. I-Bar dates back to the 1900s with rich aviation history, showcased through model plans hung from the ceiling and served as an unofficial aviator hangout spot. With lots of memorabilia from the movie decorating the bar as well, there’s lots to see. Do NOT break the bar’s rules or you might have to buy a round for the whole bar!

*Visitors have to get permission from the base to tour its compounds but an alternative route is to take a harbor cruise that tours past the naval ships.

Gran Turismo - ​​Hungaroring, Hungary

“It’s lights out and away we go!” Gran Turismo follows the story of the main character,  Jann Mardenborough, who turns his online racing hobby into reality. Gran Turismo was filmed at the Hungary F1 racetrack: ​​Hungaroring. It is open to the public on non-racing weekends! There are guided walking or bus tours of the track or even karting experiences to simulate a real driving experience on an F1 track. The best place to check for availability of these activities is through the racetrack’s website!

Mamma Mia! - Skiathos, Greece

“Mamma mia, here I go again!” If you’re ever island hopping in Greece, the island of Skiathos should definitely be on your list. Skiathos is one of the islands where the movie “Mamma Mia!” was filmed at and to recreate the feeling of watching this movie, there is an open air cinema playing the movie almost every night! You can reserve tickets in advance at the open air cinema - Attikon Skiathos. It is best to book early as the evening shows tend to sell out weeks in advance! If you still have energy, many bars around Greece host Mamma Mia nights so you can become the Dancing Queen.

Love, Rosie - Howth, Ireland

Reconnect with nature on this trail that brings you through the forest with Totoro themed landmarks along the way.  If you’re staying in Tokyo, this is a great day trip to escape the bustling city. Don’t forget to stop by the giant Totoro statue at Kurosuke House along with its gift shop for the best souvenirs.

Our Beloved Summer - Suwon, S. Korea

Suwon is a city right outside of Seoul and easily accessible by public transportation. Famous for its Galbi Barbecue and the Hwaseong Fortress, it was also the filming location for the popular K-drama, Our Beloved Summer! The house’s of the main characters Choi Ung and Kook Yeon-soo are both located here and are decorated with drawings from the show. It is a great location to take pictures but while the building is not open to the public, there’s still so much to see in Suwon like the Starfield Mall.
